Mardi Gras

This year, you can conveniently order and pick up king cakes from a selection of local businesses: Grounded Coffee on Jefferson Hwy, Haydel's Bakeshop on Magazine, The Bird's Nest Cafe in Lake Vista, and The Catch Restaurant on Clearly. You will place the order with the local business and pick up from them. I do not have any dealings with their inventory. Given the extended king cake season, I won't be offering pick-up from my home, as I cherish my neighbors and prefer to avoid excessive traffic on our street. However, I will still accommodate weekday pick-ups for birthday cakes and similar orders. If you're interested in placing a large order of king cakes, please email me, and we can arrange a pick-up directly from me. Additionally, you can place orders on my website for pick-up at the Harahan Farmers Market, with available dates provided at the time of ordering. The market address is 501 Oak Ave, Harahan, LA.

I have some thrilling news to share! Creme Confectionery is officially transitioning to natural food dyes. We are saying goodbye to chemicals in our colorings. For years, I’ve wanted to make this change, but finding a natural coloring that is free of aftertaste, allows for vibrant, deep colors, and remains cost-effective has been quite a challenge.
